Sher so glad you and your husband got to have some time away. I hope you guys enjoyed yourself. You can make your blog as long or as short as you want. I loved it.

We are still trying to find our Project #2 Karen suggested cheesecake. I have never made cheesecake... What do you guys want to do? I guess we could decorated cheesecake the same way we decorated regular cake. Do you guys want to try something else? I am good for anything myself. I like learning new things. And I think anything I make the teachers at my daughters school will love the treats I send. Michelle & Karen has some great ideas, thanks for sharing.

Also, anyone in the New Orleans Area, a few of us are getting together this Sat, Aug 21st on the Westbank at 1pm to start a Cake Club in our area. We are just meeting up and brainstorming. Let me know if you want to come!

Karen... I can not imagine living somewhere that there are not seasons!!! Guess most folks in Fla would not see the seasons. The most beautiful time of year is when the trees start turning the chartruse, then yellow & orange and red before losing their leaves. Soooo pretty. And I love the snow too... guess I love all the seasons!
The chocolate transfer sheets... I tried them a little and did not have the patience to temper the chocolate etc... so I bought the merkens wafers that you don't have to temper. I also have one of those mats where you melt your chocolate and lay your transfer sheet down face up... put the mat with the circles on it on top of that then scrape the chocolate over the mat . Allow it to set up then you pop the circles out and they have the transfer pattern on them. Got the mat at Country Kitchen Sweet Art and am going to try it all when the weather cools down. It has been in the high 90's and you really need a cooler kitchen to work with chocolate.

Hey season are an excuse we Floridians use to leave the state. We (my husband and I) are planning a trip with the kids to see snow. He was raised in NY and I was an ARMY B.R.A.T. so we've had our fair share of snow, but our 2 babies (2 and 1) haven't. FYI..also delivering my sister's Baby Shower Cake!

Hi there friends!
Okay, I placed the words to the CWB Cake Club Project #1 that goes along with the picture for our group at this time in the "Discussion Forum" area.
Gretchen, please feel free to move it to where ever you want to should I have not placed it in the area you thought would be best.

Oh, I love going and visiting Louisiana!!! The next time we travel there I will be certain to contact everyone who happens to be there and perhaps we can visit each other just like the gals are doing this wonderful weekend!!!

I hope you all take pictures and share with us the fun time you are having with each other!!!!

Does everyone want to make Cheesecake? We can do it, Karen why don't you go with this one and give us some direction. Do you mind? You can post your reciept and what we should do with it. (Please post it as a Forum and in the Text Box also) We are going to do them the week after Labor Day. Make them due that following Monday, Sept 13th. Remember you can do this anytime up to the date, this way we have a stopping point to move on to the next project. Thanks again for everyones interest in this.
