Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Has anybody seen this dragon or know who makes it.  I saw the picture somewhere in an ICE day of sharing archive and can't find it again and would love to find instructions.  Any help would be appreciated

It looks very much like the style that comes from South America. They do a lot of cold porcelain work in this style of modelling. When I started to get into the modelling thing, I was buying a lot of cold porcelain magazines from South America - all in Spanish but you could follow the photos easily.
Sorry I couldn't pin point this for you but it may be another avenue to pursue??

Cold porcelain is made from a mix of PVA glue, cornstarch and water all cooked together to form a non=toxic elastic dough that you can use to make very realistic flowers, and other figures. When it dries (it is air dried) it is very hard, like porcelain, and if you seal it with acrylic sealer, it will last indefinitely. I made a corpse bride cake topper from this stuff and the bride and groom have it on their mantel piece.

Yes, I agree with Bettina.  I have seen a few of those magazines and it does indeed look like the style.

My 1st thought when the pic opened is ' that's not a cake' - just a fondant (or similar medium) creation
