a Almond white wedding cake recipe ? looking to make and wedding cake flavor cake ! or something I have never made b-4 , any ideas , it will be covered in buttercream and fondant !

I have the champagne , just , did not like the taste when I tested it. making fresh raspberry filling and white chocolate ganache with a tiny bit of dark chocolate added. tastes real good!

So if makng for her....I use some other flavoring of her choice. Funny, growing up...vanilla cake was vanilla cake.....not a lot of interesting flavors added or fun fillings either.
I baked the cake for 1 hr on 315 than 10 , than 300 , as it was baking ! I did use the baking strips I soaked ! and still got a bump in the center with a crack ,! why is that , yes I used warm ever thing , sep 4 the sour cream !!!was not thinking it would crack !! ; ((

I don't get the dome. Tried the strips, never worked for me. I use the rose nails , and would have put in 3 in your cake pan. One in the middle, one on either side. Works great...no dome....
oh thank you Betty , the pan looked to me to be the right size !~ I filled it 1/2 ways ! maybe a slite bit less !

Gali... Sometimes if the cake pan is to small and to much batter for pan size, it will dome & rack.
At least it didn't fall and it looks done. If mine domes I press down on top with rack or clean towel when I take it out of oven while its still hot, that helps.
