I have a question? I'm making 25 table cakes for a wedding this weekend the base cake is a 6" round with a 4" round on top. My question is should I put a small dowel threw it or do you think it will be stable enough with just gluing it together with buttercream? Also would I need to put a dowel in the bottom cake to keep the top cake from sinking, all of the cakes are iced with buttercream with rose made of buttercream.
