Thanks Mildred, I always wonder about bigger bakeries.. I love baking my own treats..tste so much better than the mass produced items or the tasteless cakes from department stores... anyway lovley to converse with you and hope we can exchange great ideas :) thanks for the welcome..

There are people still active on this site. I live in GA but born and raised in New Jersey. The line outside the store of the cake boss is always long so I have never bothered to go but I understand their cakes are not that tasty. Could be they have gotten so big that the personal touch and care is no longer a practice there.

I'm with you Helen. I don't usually eat any cake or pastry from a bakery. Home made is sooo much better.

Hi my name is Christie Ray. I have been on this site for about a week now and I love it. Everyone is so helpful. I have been decorating cakes for about 20 years now but just started my own Bakery in March. I am happy to say that it has really taken off and I am loving it. This site has given me so many great ideas to help grow my business and be a better decorator. Thank you!

Hi , My name is Alifia. I joined the site couple of weeks ago. This website is so amazing and awesome! I have been baking since years & last year decided to take it to next level. I completed Wilton Cake Decorating Courses and started decorating cakes & I love it. It has grown a little, and I now make cakes for family, friends and their friends. I am here to share ideas, learn from other cake decorators and bakers. Hope to learn some new techniques here. Thanks to everyone for sharing their talent.
