Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hey everyone,

I have to make a cake for my husbands work, and I wanted to know if anyone has ideas on how I can do this?

I was thinking of doing a 12" round fondant cake with the light blue background...then adding the logo (dark blue & yellow) with the words "ieso" beside it.  However I also want to put "Congrats Portal Team" somewhere on the cake, so i'm not sure where....

I'm also not sure how to do the Yellow in the middle of the logo...

Any thoughts, i've added a picture of the logo???

Thanks!!

I'd cut out a dark blue fondant circle, cut out yellow fondant for the "starburst" and lay it on the circle and add the lettering beside it. You could write "Congrats....." in yellow on the side of the cake. I'm better at writing on the sides than the top.
Deah any ideas on how I can do the starburst?

Why don't you photocopy the logo, making it large enough to fit on the cake, and then cut the star burst out to use as a template. Place it on top of the fondant and cut the shape out with an exacto blade.
Ditto what Terri said.
