Does any one have an idea of what I can do?  I'm having a problem with the icing keeping it stiff enough to do roses. 10 seconds after I start it is thinned again due to the heat in my hands. I have tried all kind of things from different bags to sticking my hands in ice but nothing works. I get it at the right stiffness and then 10 seconds later its soft again!! I don't know what to do??   Please help if any one knows what else I can try.   Thanks so much for your help.

thanks very much, im going to try to find one of them it looks like it would be perfect for what i try to do and cant due to heat in hands lol thanks again for all the help.

 

I've found both of these to be really helpful when you don't have the strength in your hands for a lot of piping, and I bet they'd help with the heat issue, too.  You could hold the barrel with your non-dominant hand and a towel-covered ice bag for a hot day.  The pumping part doesn't really touch the barrel of frosting much.  They take any regular tip you have, using it's included large and small couplers.  It comes with a basic set of it's own tips, too.

ok thanks so much, im trying all kind of things and i could not beleive the heat in my hands, i never knew that could be a problem untill i took the wiltons calsses thanks again
