I have attached a picture of the middle tier design that is requested by customer. I have looked for many ideas to complete the top and bottom tier. Please express to me any idea that would compliment this. (The middle tier will be frosted in the image) Attach photos if you like or send me to a website to get ideas. Thanks!

What about taking one of the components from the pattern, for example the only the yellow line pattern, or just a pink outline of the flower pattern on white for the top and bottom. Or even do the bottom in the pink flower outline, and the top with the yellow line pattern. The picture that I am attaching is a 5 tier cake, but I think it would be beautiful as a 3 tier with the center tier being the colorful one.

This is a birthday cake for 200, buttercream, and they will not be stacked. Simple are you meaning blue with a border and maybe yellow and pink flowers or simple meaning on color may be yellow (top tier) with flowers and simple border & bottom tier maybe pink with border and flowers. ??Stressed

This is the inspiration for the middle tier?...are you frosting with buttercream? what is the occasion? I would keep the other two tiers simple as the middle is a complex design..maybe some complimentary flowers trailing from the middle down to the bottom tier and a simple border on each tier.
The tiers will not be stacked, are you saying to make top and bottom white and put flower patters on in ??not sure on suggestion.

Let me see if I can find a better image of what I am talking about. It wouldn't matter if it is not stacked...It looks gorgeous in my head.

I can't find the photo I am looking for. I guess the best I can describe it would be the "stained glass" look cake. I saw one done where the middle tier was done with multiple colors and shapes of flowers, like a stained glass pattern. Then the top tier had only a pattern of yellow flowers (that yellow flower was in the multi-color tier pattern). The bottom had a blue outline "broken glass" pattern (also taken from multi-color pattern). I think it may have been a Collette Peters cake, but I am not sure. Good luck on the cake, I can't wait to see what you do on the photo page.
