Ok cake friends I have another question. Usually when I make a cake I will ice it and add filling the day I decorate it. I work full time and a friend wants a cake for Friday evening so will it get soggy if I add the filling tonite and just decorate it tomorrow? Please help!!
I guess that would depend on what kind of filling you are using. I usually fill mine using a recipe that calls for cream cheese, pudding mix and cream and I fill it the day before. That way the cake has time to settle before I ice and decorate it. I haven't had any complaints about soggyness (is that a word? lol!).
