I entered my cake for this contest yeaterday . but it does not appear under the winter cakes album. any idea why this must be. Ihave the pic of my cake under my profile

Pearse - I found it and added it to the Featured Photos. Sometimes when names of pictures are changed they don't hit the main folder and they get missed.  Sorry about that!

Hi,

We just finished Uploading our 3rd Winter Holiday Cake , for the contest , its a lite up snowman with trees on both sides, Please let me know if you can find it , we really hope it can be entered in time, , just uploaded it to our (my page Photos , called  (Winter Holiday Cake Contest #3)  I will keep eyes out for when its been added to the contest , Thank you so much for letting us know we still got time, Muchly appreciated

now that the voting has started, do only members get to vote or our friends outside can do it too. Please clarify.

HI Pearse,

 

It's limited to members only.  We discourage people from having their friends and family sign up as members only to vote (many consider this "cheating").

I totally agree.And in this age of facebook and smart phones it would have been a colossal degree of cheating. Thanks for letting me know. And what a community of people we have here- so very encouraging. And thanks to you for patiently replying to all my silly questions. Thanks a lot

From what i have learned being a member her at cakes we bake , no question is a silly question , if that was the case all  my questions are silly then LOL
