Hi...I have the Cricut cake and am very frustrated with the frosting sheets. I try freezing them and changing pressure and size. all to have them crack and bunch up or not cut. I have had better luck with gumpaste..freeezing it first and then cutting and freezing it again before I remove it from the sheet. Does any one have better experience with the frosting sheets. I spent hundreds of dollars and have multiple packages of of them but tired of wasting them.

What brand of sheets are you using Melanie?
Try the forsting sheets from icingimages and you will have much better luck. They cut very clean with no tearing. I trim the side edges back so I can tape the backing to the cricut mat and get perfect cuts every time. All frosting sheets are not made the same. I have tried several brands and have only had good luck with the premium sheets from icingimages..
OMG...You will love them> This is a cake done by Linda McClure with the Silhouette and our Dark Pink icing sheets. See the fine detail...it is amazing...more to come!
We posted a picture of a cake on our Icing Images Forum here at Cakes we Bake that Mike Terry did with the Cricut. It is truly stunning
