Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Anyone do one or have any suggestions.  The women is asking for a more realistic looking cake.  Not sure to do a sheet and do something on it or try and do I 3D image.  Suggestions or pics would greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I know there are a bunch of castle cake pictures on the site. It really depends on what you're comfortable doing. I know Wilton has a castle cake set. People also use ice cream cones to make the towers.
i guess 3D would have to be it if she's asking for something realistic. As Theresa said, there's the wilton one that ppl use.
My daughter wants a Cinderella castle cake for her kindergarten graduation with Cinderella doll cake and bumpkin carriage cake huh ha , I will use the wilton's castle set it is the best .
I put some pictures I've been looking at to give you an idea

my 1st castle cake was for my daughter last yr. lot of work! i think the hardest part is doing the turrets and towers.
Hi Amy,
These castles were made using the wilton castle cake kit.Walmart sells it rally cheap.
Its really easy to decorate and comes with instructions and a pattern for icing the turrets.

Do you have a Publix nearby? The sell a Disney Princess Castle cake there. But what most people don't know is that Publix will sell you any cake topper/set that you want. I bought the Princess Castle set for $15.00 for my daughter's birthday. It comes with a princess picture frame so the bday girl is the princess on top of the cake, 4 towers and 6 princesses... you could do that cake and out Cinderella in front.

I attached the cake I made for my daughter... Let me know if you have questions! :)

Oh my goodness! I looked at all of the pictures of everyone's Castle "Princess" cakes and they are just beautiful. I don't need to do this cake but with all the terrific reviews and the pictures for proof, I just want it. Yep, I'm a Born Princess and still am, just ask my husband!
These cakes are fabulous!!!! All of them!!!
I've made one useing the Wilton Kit, little girl and mother loved it. Trying to attach a pic, don't know if I'm doing this right since I've just joined...

Here is the one I did for my granddaughter. Sculpted most of the cake...only used the roof tops with the flags...then air brushed it all.

I have done a few castles like these, it's very easy & I enjoyed making these too.. If you need any information let me know... Suzie

I made one like this too and set it on top of a double layer half sheet for more servings, otherwise it is a very small cake.
