Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hi everyone,Please i need help on my chocolate panel cake decoration.

I'm baking a 16" and 14" round chocolate panel cake for a friend's wedding and i need an idea of the quantity of chocolate i would need to get to do the panels on the cake

this is a recipe from Martha stewart so I am assuming you can multiply it to how large you need.  hope this helps.

Faith's post is quite comprehensive. I looked at the Martha Stewart link. Very good. The only thing I could add is I would buy extra chocolate, just in case of mistakes. Better to have some leftover than not having enough. You can always freeze the chocolate.  :o)
