This is the moistest cake I have ever made. I once had someone cancel her cake order after I had frosted it, and I served it 4 days later to my guests, and it was still the moistest cake ever. I then sent the leftovers to work with my husband the next day, and they said it was the best they had ever had!
Thank you ladies!!! I appreciate your responses very much:) I just got home from a full day of work plus a cake decorating class. I am tired but felt the need to thank you all for responding so quickly. I am definitely trying the Hershey one for the graduation and try Lilly's at a later day.
Next Wednesday is my last class for Fondant and Tiered cakes and I've decided to test the waters and make a topsy turvy tiered cake. There are several reasons for making it and one is because I was asked to do a four tiered topsy turvy for a Sweet 15 in June of 2011. Yes, us Puerto Ricans celebrate the 15th and not the 16th. It is more like a wedding than an actual birthday. It is our celebration of coming into womanhood "young lady". There's my lesson for today:)
Just curious which chocolate cake recipe you used. I need to make chocolate cake this week.
