I'm looking for ideas, suggestions on how to make the towers for a castle cake, my only idea is rice krispies, or someone mentioned paper towel rolls but just wondering what others use.

Wow your good! Thanks for the quick response! What great tutorials! Thanks so much! Well now I want a sugar shaper ugh lol
don't know if any of Goreti's tutes cover this, but I have heard of people using ice cream cones for the turrets. I would prefer to use something edible personally.
Thank you Katy, yes I am planning to use waffle cones covered with sprinkles just wasn't sure about the base and I also prefer to use all edibles if possible. :-)
thanks for all the help, it was a success, although I like to keep everything edible, time was limited and I used paper towel tubes covered in fondant, they were only held together with icing and it had a several hour drive to where it was going and it stayed together, if you haven't seen it and would like to its in my photos called castle cake, thanks again and for the tutorials too Goretti!
