Can you ship a cake if so how?

I wouldn't do it - but I HAVE heard that the best way to ship it is in a box with a CLEAR lid so the parcel carrier can see what's inside!  They then tend to treat it a little nicer. :)

You know it would be just a plain cake nothing big but I think it would be cheaper to call somewhere up there and order it would look better too lol. You know me and my decorating I can do cookies though. I thought about that they just want a cake from their fav relative. You know sometimes they just want to say hey look what my aunt sent for me. I am worried about the heat though. Wish I could find someone going up there and send it by them.
