Hey ladies,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
I need some expertise help...I've got an inquiry from a lady asking for a CAR CAKE. Specifically the Acura TSX....(see attached)
I've never carved a cake out before and before I commit to the order i'd like to know how to proceed with this.
I'm thinking I would have to stack cakes on top of eachother and then start carving out the shape of the cake? Any easier methods?
Your help and advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks ladies...
So the tips i've heard are:
- use WASC
- buttercream the slabs of cakes and freeze? I may have the same problem as Frostine...no room in fridge!! when you freeze the cakes do you cover it with saran wrap? I've never froze my cakes before. Does it still become moist?? How long do you freeze for??
- pictures of all angles of car!!!
I've had trouble trying to freeze then frost cakes, the frosting tends to pull away from the cake. Here's 2 cakes that I carved and frosted, at room temp.
