I need a recipe for Cake Pops   The best one anyone out there that can assist me?

bake a 9 x 13 cake

cool

crumble cake

add one to one and half cups frosting

mix crumbled cake and frosting

chill for 20 minutes

roll chilled cake "dough" into balls

melt chocolate (you can thin with one to two tablespoons veg shortening)

dip sucker stick into choclate

insert into chilled cake ball

chill until choclate has set between stick and ball

dip ball in melted chocolate

When I cut off the dome of the cake, I save all of them and bag them individually according to flavors and freeze them, that way whenever I need to make cake pops, I have the cakes already. I just mix it with a little bit of buttercream (some people use liquid coffee creamer) until you reach the consistency to where you can roll them and they stay rolled and not crumbly. I freeze mine before dipping.
