Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hi guys:

I am being asked to make a cake for twins turning 30. completely different ppl. One LOVES to party, the beach, play dress up and she's a marketer. the other is very shy..hardly ever parties and is a nurse. How do i go about making a cake that reflects both individuals?

Do i stack 2 different cakes? One nurse shy one and the other party animal fashionista?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Teneisha

How about splitting it down the middle - one side for each person.  Each side could be a different color too.

The split down the middle is a great way to go, it's what I'd do too. How about Yin and Yang, but brightly coloured! Tx

Thank you Deah and Tracy. Greta idea!

now they want chic...how do I make this cake chic...?
Did they define chic for you?  One person's chic is another's tacky!
no definition...but I see her all the time and she keeps up to date with fashion...
I would stay elegant - sleek lines and tasteful colors.  Maybe find out if they have favorite flowers and favorite colors and still do the yin/yang two-sided thing but more clean.
Hi Teniesha,

I was just wondering if you made the cake for the twins! Had a quick look through your album but I couldn't see it. Did you post a photo.

Intrigued of London :) Tracy x
