Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hi Eeryone:

I am making a 2-tiered wedding cake (i'm very new at this)....the cake and the board are covered in fondant. What's the best way to approach this?

1. Cover the board then the cake

or

2. Cover the cake and the board in one go (I saw this on your tube)

Let me know.

Thanks in advance.

In the US is it called Regalice? sorry to be a pain!!!
I think that Fondant and Regalice is the same kind of product...rollable icing...maybe both names are used (you just taught me about regalice...i googled it)...I'm from Jamaica so someone from the US could help you better.
Thank you Teneisha, good luck with the cake covering.
