So I made my cake batter, put it in my pan, went to put it in (what I thought was my) preheated oven and the oven is stone cold. It appears to be dead. I can't use a friend's oven until tomorrow. Can I keep the cake batter in the pan in the refrigerator, covered with plastic wrap, until tomorrow? Or is it better to start over? This just sucks. I have two cakes to make this week.
