Allergy free cake , frosting and coloring gel
Hi Everyone
I have a request for a cake and the little boy is allergic to peanuts and treenuts .
On a side note, last night I was teaching to Girl Scout Class and one of the parents that helped out , her daughter was allergic to peanuts she ready the back of the Wilton Gel Color and told me it was not safe for her.
Anyway I dont want to use that gel color for this cake, is there a safe one to use with a person who has tree and peanut allergies ?????
What is the best frosting and cake recipies to use for anyone with peanut and tree allegies anyone know ????

I would think most frosting and cake recipes are fine. If you make them from scratch, you know what goes into them. What was the ingredient in the gel she said was no good?

I amnot sure i willhave to relook at it , was teaching so I did not stop and read it ..I will tomorrow though for sure
