A bride needs a cake in NY/ NJ area
A bride named Sabrina has contacted me and asked me all about a cake on my blog.
It is a 3 tier baseball wedding cake
i have all the info on how this was created on my blog.
i live in Colorado and can't help her much, but she was quoted $900.00 to do this cake!! She can't afford that, and personally I think that is way too much!
if anyone is willing to talk with her please let me know and I will give you her email address.
It doesn't seem that she has much time.

rochelle I can not see the cake very well... if she is in the NY NJ area... that price is probably not far out of the "ballpark!"

I live in New Jersey. If I can see a better picture of the cake I can let you know if I can do it. Oh and much cheaper, no matter what it looks like from here. lol

Ok i googled it and found a larger pic. Wow they make baseball ball columns I didn't know that. Cute though. Well if she still needs it and depending on what she wants exactly and when give me a holla.

Hi Trisha,
She is still looking. Her wedding isn't until May.
The cake is really pretty basic, but I did cut the bats. They do not make baseball bat columns. You are right I did use fondant and edible ink to draw on the "stitching" It was a fun cake to do.
The Bride did find the bats and is really wanting this type of cake. I live in Colorado so can't do it :(
They are Calla Lillies, but I am not sure of the flowers she wants, that may be different.

I hope this works for her, she seems to be really wanting this theme. I will also try to find you some of my better photos of this cake!
