Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Just a quick question, I was wondering if you all think it is important to strain the seeds from raspberry filling. I have had different opinions shared with me and just wanted your opinions. This is for a wedding cake and I am making my own filling. I normally strain it, but read a few recipes that didn't call for doing that. Just wondering if I can save myself some time.

Does it bother you to crunch on the seeds when you eat the raspberry filling? I bought myself a small container and I strained them because it bothers me. In fact, I never buy a raspberry smoothie without asking if there are seeds in it. Just my opinion.
hmmmm I guess I kinda like the seeds. I love raspberries though and a raspberry is not a raspbery without the seeds... they come that way. :-) I make my raspberry filling as a berry buttercream and I never strain the seeds. Just what I do... guess you might want to ask your customer... just to be safe.
