Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Anyone know of a good website where I can purchase nice cake boxes for transport???  I like to make tiered cakes, so I need ones that are high enough. I've been either transporting them in my personal cake tupperware or I buy the cake boxes Wal-Mart sells! Ugh! It's frustrating! I don't want to spend and arm and a leg, either! I'm looking to buy in bulk.

Any tips are appreciated!

Thanks!

You'll probably have to look into custom boxes. Shipping boxes aren't technically food safe since they are made in factories that use harmful chemicals. Bakery Crafts makes larger cake boxes, but they aren't super tall. There is also things like the Cake Safe... but they are expensive.
Diana, what I have done is to buy a styrofoam ice cooler, line it with vinyl shelf paper on the inside...place the cake on the lid, and cover with the box part...of course you are limited somewhat by shape and size but it is reusable and the coolers are fairly cheap right now. I have fit a double stacked 9inch round/sq

I never use, "used boxes"...the ones behind the grocery store etc, you never know that has been in them.
Thanks for the info, Jeanne and Sherry! Let me just say, I NEVER use "used" boxes for my cakes. I purchase the Wilton Cake boxes that Wal-mart sells, specifically for cakes, but they are never the right size. I thought, surely, there has to be a website out there somewhere that professional decorators use when clients pick them up or when they are dropped off. I just don't like the idea of dropping off a cake that is uncovered...
try www.sugarcraft.com. This site has all types of boxes and inserts, hopes this helps!
