What is the best type of cake for carving?
I am making a Perry the Platypus cake for my son's birthday in a few weeks. I have never carved a cake before and I was wondering what kind of cake is the best for carving.

Hi I always make the butter or I think it is called a pound cake in the Peggy Porchen books. It is firm and carves well. Good luck
