Chocolate Contest - July 1 - July 21, 2010
Chocolate Contest:
Enter anything made of chocolate, modeling chocolate, chocolate sculptures, or chocolate fondant by July 21st for a chance to win. Add the photo to your profile and label the title Chocolate Contest. All entries will be featured at the top of the photos page. Sponsored by A&H Cake Design and Richard Festern of BakingArts.net.
1st place: "Modeling Chocolate Wrapped Cakes: Gift Wrapped Presents, Ribbons, Bows and Roses" DVD by Richard Festern. In 2004, Richard left biotech, hung up his laboratory coat, and put on a chef's jacket. He started Baking Arts, a cooking school dedicated to baking, decorating and confectionery classes in beautiful downtown San Francisco and has been teaching private and group classes as well as creating cakes ever since.
2nd place: $10 gift certificate to A&H Cake Design.
Voting will take place from July 22nd through July 26th. The top 10 cakes will be displayed on July 27th and will be determined by the number of people selecting it as their favorite. Judges will vote on July 28th. The winner will be posted on July 29th.
A&H Cake Design offers the some of the lowest prices on cake
decorating supplies. They also have quick & reasonable shipping
rates.
The winner will also be featured in A&H Cake Design's newsletter and
on their website. Winners will be asked to submit 4 cake photos and descriptions for making them to A&H Cake Design.

You may enter as many cakes as you like, but please only enter 1 photo per cake.

Yes, it can be a cake that is already on the site. Just relabel the title Chocolate Contest so I know to feature it. You can enter as many cakes as you like, but just 1 photo of each, please.

I see a lot of people are submitting a bunch of photos of the same cake. If you do that, then I end up having to pick 1 picture and it may not end up being the one you want, so please only submit 1. Thanks! -

Well i added my Chocolate cake to the contest and named it chocolate, cake but when i went ot look for it in the contest cake pics i didnt see if , How long does it take to show up there , or did i do it wrong ??

Jaci, It is featured. We have to look for the contest entries and then feature them. It doesn't happen automatically.
