Hi Guys, I need some help how do you all work with satin ice in the humiditity.. Im losing the plot but I love the product.... By the time I get it rolled out and on my cake its sticky please help Thank you :)

I live in humid Charleston!  Do you refrigerate your cakes?  I refrigerate the cakes overnight then cover them with fondant. 

Do you have a de-humidifier in your home?  I don't but that too would help.

Hello I don't know if this help, i hear people use 1 teaspoon for each pound the Tylose, you can try and i believe is work,Good luck

Laney Im in Brisbane Australia over hear we ganache our cakes put them in the fridge and then when the ganache is hard we put fondant on, but when you put the satin ice in it goes very sticky like tacky so you could not smooth it out :(

This happen with me one cake everything sticky and i put in the refrigerate and the cake star be shine..like a little bubble the water..i am so frustrate because i worked a lot in the cake and the decoration..in this time i learn this trick..eheh i hope work for you.
