HELP: Cupcakes to Cakepops ratio for a wedding reception

I believe the response you will most likely get is that you need to think in terms of servings instead of people necessarily.  If they wish to pay for 100 servings, then you could have 1cupcake as a serving or 2-3 cakepops as a serving.  The 6" would not count toward servings since it is for the bride and groom only.  But do not forget it in  your pricing.  I think it would look great on a tall stand with the cake on top alternating rows of cupcakes and cakepops.   this might have more presence than maybe spreading them out low.  it would depend on how much room is allocated for the display.  Alot of room could mean using individual cake stands in different heights for interest also.

Hi Tammy,

Thanks a lot for your advice!  So basically I have to determine what consists 1 serving for a cupcake and 1 serving for a cakepop.

 

I would think a regular size cupcake = 1 serving

2 cakepops = 1 serving

 

Any other advice from anyone?
