Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I know several of you use edible ink printers to make images for cakes.  Would any of you be willing to do one for me and mail it to me?  (Is that even possible?) It's for a cake I'm donating to our local library for young girls' book club.  I would need it by June 21.  If so, let me know and I'll get you the details on what it is.  Thanks!!

Eileen, I've been told that around my area there is one grocery store (Lowes Foods) that will sell just the printable image. You might try that avenue.
Sticky situation though, Deah. It's a book cover, so I'm pretty sure Wal-Mart and our local store won't do it because it's copyrighted. I'm not selling the cake, I'm donating it, but they still won't do it.
What book cover? I was on eBay yesterday looking for Twilight stuff and saw some edible images there.
I doubt it would be available. It's called "Riding Freedom" - not really popular fiction. It's for pre-teen girls.
Eileen, what about printing the picture on line then taking it to your grocery store. I did this for two cakes and took it to my local Stop & Shop and they did it without any questions. I was charged $7.00 per sheet.
I take them to our local grocery store and they print them for me all the time.

Sorry, I am so late in seeing this post.  PhotoFrost will gladly print your picture, just give us a call at 352-528-9292 or email them at sales@photofrost.com

Also, they have a great special going on with their printers.  Packages include printer, all edible supplies and both cleaning and maintenance tools for a great price, check it out at www.photofrost.com

Thanks for the info, Tricia!  Yeah- that was a year ago. LOL!  Still putting off buying my own edible paper printer - mostly it's a space issue - I have literally no place to store it.
I bought one and it rarely gets used.  Don't regret buying it.  But it rarely gets used.
