Hi Bonnie,  Do you dip the stick in choc, first ? I find that if I let the pops set over night in the frig after  I put the sticks in I don't have any problems. I know it takes longer but saves a lot of hassle. Good luck !

well first you have to make sure you dont put to much frosting on the cake mix, roll the cake into balls on a sheet pan put them in the freezer once you have done the cake balls for about an hrs, this way it will be nice and hard, take out 3 at a time put some melted candy on the pop stick and inserted it wait a few min befoe you dip them... make sure you have your candy melts on a bow that is deep enough, but not a big bowl so when you dip them it wont break, just dip them facing down and take them out let drip for a min and place on a straform...

I do a lot of cake pops and havent had a big proublem yet.. if you leave them to long on the chocolate it will break so dip fast and take out fast, try that and let me know how it came out.. you can also reach me on maria4311@aol.com, hope I was able to help you in some way...

Thank you for all the advice. I believe I may of put too much frosting.
