Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Does anyone know if Pillsbury chocolate cake mix or Betty Crocker chocolate cake mix is peanut free?  I have a cake due for someone with a peanut allergy and I'm not which mix to use?  If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate it!!  Thanks so much.

I found this information on this website: http://www.peanutsafefood.com/. But a word of caution....I wouldn't touch this one with a 10 foot pole...if you have EVER and I mean EVER had peanuts, peanut butter or anything made that ISN'T peanut free in your home no matter how clean you are, you will have residue in your kitchen, utensils etc and depending on the severity of the allergy... Something to think about. Mom needs to find a baker that specializes in allergenic food. Expensive yes!!! Worth it, totally. JMO.. hope it all works out.

Thank you so much Sherry! You are right, peanut allergies are scary, so I will reccommend that she find a specialty bakery. I am not going to take any chances!! Thanks for the info.
