What if at all is the differance between Frosting and Icing?

I never knew that Sherry. I thought they were the same thing.
Wow! I learned something new today. I always thought they were the same thing, too. I always call it icing because that's how we referred to it where I used to work...
Thank you Very Much Sherry... Now that I think about it icing is just what it sounds like ice shinny and smooth. Just like a glaze...Thank you again...Patty

Thanks for clarifying that Sherry. I will then continue to use the term icing otherwise I could get really confused. ;)
I always thought that Icing had more air in it too?
