Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hello all. I am making a cake for my sister-in-law's 60th Birthday. She has asked for a coffee and walnut cake, so that is what she shall have. But I want to glam it up a bit and make it special, so I thought I might add some of her birth flowers to it, which is Lily of the Valley. I have never made sugarpaste flowers before to any real degree, so wonder if any of you have some tips on the best way to go about it. I have seen Lily of the Valley cutters, so I guess my first step would be to get some of those. But then, what about the stems and leaves etc. Any tips would be welcome.
