Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

So I'm looking into getting an airbrush gun for my small lil home bakery and am not sure what kind to get. I'm tired of having to put so much food coloring in my fondant to get the color I want and then the fondant ripping and becoming dry. Any advice on what type of air gun is best and where to find the best prices? Thanks everyone.

He also got me a 12 pack of colors. It works great!! :o)

i got mine from michaels.  on sale for like $15.  it comes with the air can i got the adaptors and now use a air compress - small size spent like $35, got it from a tool store.  i love mine.
I have an Airmaster Airbrush Compressor System and Kopykake airbrush (dual action)...I heard of another airbrush brands...paasche or iwata which are good brands as well. I also got mine at amazon.com which came with starter kit airbrush sheen colors but they are very tiny (size of the bottles similar to the Duff food colors available at Michaels) and I also bought more americolor airbrush colors.

Really? I haven't seen any at Michaels. Whats the brand? I'll reach this. lol

I like it! I don't need the huge set up I keep finding online.

do you have a harbor freight near you.  they have lots of guns to choose from  just saw they have a gun and compressor for $79 this month.

I bought mine at Michaels, they almost always have 40% off coupons online so it's not too expensive.
