Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hi guys:

So I confidently made 20 calla lillies last night...left them to dry...some are and some are almost. Of the 20 only 2 came off the cone...the others seem glued to the cone...i don't know what to do...the wedding is tommorrow and I don't have time to do them over...can anyone offer a solution...

Thanks

Have you tried to get them out? Sometimes it just takes a little force to get them moving. If they are set up, twisting them a bit might break the suction. What are they made of? Fondant or gumpaste? If they are made of fondant you might have less luck since fondant can be brittle and take a longer time to set up, and even when it does dry it stays more fragile than gumpaste does.

Good luck.
They are made of gumpaste...I tried but no luck...I guess I will have to try again...later in the day...can't now too nervous...have baking to do...

Thanks for the advice.
