Good morning,
Before posting i always check the forums or pictures for threads on a topic, but for the life of me i can't find anything on Teapots or Teacup cakes!!! I see pictures but no instructions on how to do this type of cake. Unless i missed it!?
I have an inquiry for a teapot or teacup shaped cake for 25 people. It is for a birthday.
How do I even start with a cake like this? What type of pan? Would my Wilton Doll Pan work? And how much would I even charge?
Any thoughts/suggestions would be great!
Thank you!!

Ladies you are awesome!! :) Thank you so much...
Do you think the Wilton Doll Pan would work as well?
Just in your opinion, how much would you charge for this type of cake? Say the Teapot ontop of another single-layer cake? Enough to feed 25 ppl...
I made a teapot cake for a customer's grandmother. The teapot was made out of the wilton sports ball pan. I place the teapot on a "table" made out of a 10" square cake...that would certainly serve 25. I charged $75 for the cake. I made the tea cup, spoon, and napkin out of gumpaste...I also made the handle and spout out of gumpaste and after they dried attached them with toothpicks. You can see the pix on my page.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!
