what about the melting chocolate (white) that they sell at Kroger's....idk.
I live in Australia... don't know that brand.......

Oh Okay...I see...so tell me this...are the candy melts in a bag in the form of round chips? Just to make sure I understand what you're looking for.

Kroger's is just the name of a local grocery store here in Houston.  But can you just get some melting wafers instead

There's a chocolate that we use in school, if I can remember I will look at the name and post for you tomorrow.

hope that helps

I had a part time candy business for 22 years and found that Nestles or Merkens compounds work the best.  The candy melts, to me, taste terrible and do not solidify as nicely as the two I prefer.  I like to 3-D paint.  The candy discs just did not work well.  I also prefer not to use the already tinted discs.  I tinted all my white chocolate with the oil based food colors, and they worked beautifully and had truly nice colors.

Thanks Diane for the tip.!!

The candy melts cost $10 for a small bag!!

I will use the Nestle buttons..

You are very welcome.
