I just love this cake! You are so good at every part of decorating, Goreti. How do you get your ganache so smooth? This rose is just incredible and the cake board!!! How many hours did THAT take?!

Sandra, the cake board probably took more time than anything else. I had bits & pieces of different colored fondant from previous cakes and just decided to used it. The ganache I might have used a hot knife. Also used the upside down method which makes a pretty smooth top.

This is so beautiful Goreti. I have to say, I do struggle a bit with getting a smooth ganache. Might try the upside down method next time.

Thanks for the tip on the upside down technique, Goreti. I've seen it on uTube, but have never tried it. I know it was tons of work, but your little cake board looks exactly like a real quilt - beautiful.
