Just couldn't help myself...added a little iguana to the back of the Scarlet Macaws Cake.

Sounds about right!
I believe, Bonnie, that you are describing a Skink. We have two varieties here, the one you described which is a silverish color with vertical black strips on their backs with iridescent blue tails. The second variety, and I see far fewer of them, have a copperish body with a red tail. Very common here and much smaller than iguanas. The cats think they are toys.
We have all these very small, but very colorful, with a beautiful darkish blue back half & tail, lizards. Whew, now that was a mouthful. I am sure some of you also have these. The largest I have ever seen, probably stretched from the base of my hand, to the tip if my middle finger..., most coming in at half that size. While the one you did, had a color much better suited to the jungle, ergo, iguana. {:o)
Thanks Gali, Bonnie, Inoka and Katy! Iguana is a bit of a stretch, Bonnie, but that is what he was intended to be. If I am so fortunate as to be able to show the cake again, I will redo him and try to do a little better job - lol.
he's fabulous! I don't think he looks like an afterthought..........
Perfect Sandra! you have so much new ideas...
Iguana, huh? I should have known he was to big to be a lizard! lol
wow , you truly amaze me !
Mr. Iguana thanks you, June!
