Cake pans...
What is your favorite brand of cake pan? I have wilton pans and they are decent, but I want some that don't feel so cheap. I don't usually bake big cakes, 10" is the biggest I've ever made. Any suggestions?

Global Sugar Art has them, they are a little more expensive than rounds, shipping was $14.00(ugh). Their prices are quite reasonable. See, now when I tell my fiance I spent $44.14 for six pans, he can't say "baking stuff again?!" Ha ha!!!

There is a technique Jackie where you use 2 fondant smothers simultaneously to achieve sharp corners on a square cake. :o)

lol Jackie! what I want is this set I showed you and a mini set , I have a mini set of rounds 2'' 4''6'' 8'' set , .I would love to get the Square set like that , since I make mostly very small cakes, unless some1's birthday !than I kinda go a little off !

I have a 16"square Wilton pan, works fine, not going to buy anymore at this late date, using what I have. Thinking about not doing so many cakes next year. Need to slow down and "smell the Roses".

aw ! yes the Rose do smell beautiful , I agree , I don't need any more pan s since I don't bake cakes for customers ! but when I go ! I hope to leave all this good stuff to some 1 whom ,,,,, will enjoy and get good use out of all of it ,I just wish it was one of my girls or grandchildren , ! ; ))

I've been buying a lot of new stuff lately. My hand-me-downs are showing their age. I've bought quite a few cake cookbooks as well, like 7. They are all different, some fun ones to bake with my fiance`s daughter and just now, some that have adult beverages in the cakes/cupcake batter and the icing. But I think it's time to back away from the "add to basket" button and wait for my goodies to arrive. It's going to be like my birthday all week!!
