Favorite recipe
Hello Ladies!!! I just want to know which is the most favorite cake flavor of your customers and the favorite frosting and filling? Thank you in advance.

Maria - I find lemon sponge is very popular and also lemon or vanilla filling. I'm in the UK so tastes will obviously vary around the world. My Devil's Food Chocolate cake goes down pretty well too!

Here in Australia, Mud Cakes are very popular. More so milk choc than white or dark. They don't need a filling, and nobody usually wants a filling in them.
Red velvet cupcakes are "trending" a bit. With either simple buttercream or cream cheese frosting.
Sponge cake with raspberry filling or plain chocolate cake with vanilla or chocolate buttercream are the staples for children's cakes.

I have my carrot filled with either pineapple or apricot pineapple (cream cheese frosting) and then my chocolate filled with raspberry filling (chocolate frosting). One that has recently become popular is my pumpkin with pineapple filling and cream cheese or buttercream frosting.

Faith: that's great! I think carrot cake is the underdog of cakes. People have usually tried a bad carrot cake before, with too much spice and really dry, and decide they don't like carrot cake... But if you make a good, moist, well balanced in flavour carrot cake, it's absolutely delicious!

Couldn't agree more Penny! For a quick carrot cake, I use a Betty Crocker mix - it's completely delicious. Moist, flavoursome and light. My husband will tell you he doesn't like carrot cake or cream cheese frosting, but you could fool me when he scoffs up BC's!

Hahaha. Yeh my hubby doesn't like anything with fruit or vegetables (so healthy... NOT!) in it... But he scoffs down my carrot cake which has both carrots and pineapple in it. Mwahahaha so evil.

Oh yes make them ALL haha. I did one cake a week until I'd tryed a list I had printed. Took them to friends, or to church etc sometimes so we weren't eating too much cake haha

I'll try it all one by one. My budget is tight nowadays for my mother is not very well and I need to buy all her medicines and pay everything. Thank you Ladies!!!
