How to determine fresh eggs?

My Mom taught me this a long, long time ago when I began to bake. Plus I learned this at school in Home Ec. Very useful. :o)

I was just thinking the same thing Katy!  I have a big oblong container that holds 4 dozen eggs and I just take them out of the carton and put them in there... but never in the fridge long enough to get old for sure!  But it is good info if you don't use your eggs fast ;-)
