Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Hi everybody! Is it ok to replace All Purpose Flour with Cake flour? Is there a difference if I use cake flour even when the recipe is asking for an APF?I want to make my cake very soft and airy? How can I achieve that? Do you have a good chocolate cake recipe?6Pls. help!Thanks!

If you are replacing apf for cake, you use 1 cup minus 2 tablespoons apf for every cup. I always apf, never noticed a difference in my baking. I have killer family chocolate cake, but it isn't what I would call "light & airy".   I can certainly send it to you.
