Vogue Bag & Magazine - 114F
This cake (bag) is 100% edible. The main body of the cake is made from rich fruit cake, carved into shape then covered in marzipan and ready to roll icing before lining with printed icing sheets. The leather effect top is hand painted. The handles and corner/elbows are made from petal paste. Handles were shaped and dried before being stuck to cake with edible glue. The magazine cover was hand-crafted. The girl on the cover was the birthday girl! The Tiffany pendant was made using petal paste and covered in edible hollogram glitter. The cake sits on a 16x20" drum.
