The bulk barn and Micheal's offer the Wilton classes (Frankly I only went to one Wilton class and it bored me to death and I got  my money back but they let me keep the book so that was a plus.  Sometime the local high schools will offer some night classes ( I took one on how to make fondant flowers at one if the local high schools for $75, but I live in Welland and we have a different school board then you do but it does not hurt to ask) good luck.

Well it is a small world, I was born and grew up in Fort Ere. I took the Wilton classses and loved them all. They certainly got better after the Level one class, it is qute basic in the first class  my friend and looked at each other because who doesn't know how to bake a cake. Who knew??? You can take any level you want. they don"t have to be in order. The 4th level  was the absolute best, nothing but flowers. They also offered a Tiered cake class and a cupcake decorating class that was useful. In the cupcake class we learned icing embroidery, quilting etc.

I know you can see this stuff on the web but it is good to actually see someone doing the different things.

I was just asking because you can never learn too much, I have asked the local Michaels instructor if she would do some more one night classes.

Take care

Hey Carol

I am from Burlington On. Googled and put a couple of places below. Also check out local decorators in your area. Many Teach. I below to CCDG (Canadian Cake Decorators Guild). Go on their site and join. It is free. Then you can put a question out to Toronto and area members to see where there are classes. If you want to attend one of the meetings, you do have to be a paid member.  Hope this helps.   :o)
