Jacksonville, NC here. I've been playing with cakes for about 10 years now, but am just starting to work on taking my decorating to the next level. I've done cakes mostly for family and friends, but have had a couple of outside orders. I have yet to do a fondant cake, all mine are bc to date, and all designs are freehanded. I see so many beautiful cakes and I only pray I can get to the point of making some equally as beautiful.

Hi! I'm from Southern California, north of Los Angeles. I'm self-taught with the help of YouTube, books, and the internet. I've been decorating seriously for about 8 months now. Initially it was just for family but I'm now beginning to get orders from friends and others as word gets around. I love all forms of cake and cookie decorating. My present goal is to work on sugarpaste flowers and sugarpaste people/figures. I would also like to perfect butter cream flowers. I just stumbled upon this website and I love it! It's a great way to meet other cakers.

Hi, I'm from west-central Indiana. I used to decorate cakes for my daughter when she was young and decided to take the Wilton courses after my grandchildren were born. I've been making cakes for family and friends for a few years now, and recently sold my very first cake! I absolutely love it and all of my cakes are unique to the individual I make them for. I haven't made very many, but I hope to increase the numbers this year. After years of crafting in a variety of mediums, I have finally found my true passion in cake decorating!

Hi I"m from Highland California, I've enjoyed baking all of my life, now that my kids are grown I wanted to get serious about making cakes, I started decorating with Fondant 8 months ago, and just fell in love with it. I will usually have two cakes or cupcakes a week now. I am so glad that I found this site there are so many great bakers and decorators out there I'm excited to learn from you all.

Hi everyone! Am from Kenya, East Africa. I have been baking for years but doing simple cakes. The most I know how to do is chocolate leaves. :-) I recently came across and decided to take up cake decorating. I will have to teach myself because we don't have Wilton classes here. Through my research I came across this forum. Am so happy to meet all of you and can't wait to get started on cake decorating. Its fantastic to have somewhere I can ask questions and see other's work, its inspiring.

Hi! My name is Diana and live in AR. I have always enjoyed cake decorating, but only seriously for the last 9 months. As most of you, I make cakes for family and friends. Working towards hopefully opening up my own shop some day! We shall see. I am ADDICTED to this new passion of mine! I've taken 2 of the Wilton courses, but am pretty much self-taught. I'm happy to be a member and look forward to getting to know some of you and learn lots of new things!!!

I am From Rochester Hills, MI just made my forst cake on the 4 of July. I just enroll in a basic cake decorating class for August.

Hi I'm Jennifer from upstate NY. I have been baking since I was a kid but last fall started taking the Wilton classes and now I am hooked on decorating - I have even sold a couple of cakes! I have very far to go though, need to master fondant and all the fun decorations that the Wilton classes DON'T teach you!
