Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

hullooo all,

I wanted to know if anybody can tell me whether or not it is worth investing in a set of topsy turvy cake pans that are angled?  I have baked a few topsy turvy cakes and just cut and hollow them as per all the tutorials, but thought that these pans could mean less wastage?  Please let me know - thanks

This really depends on you, ask yourself these basic question before investing in any product.

1. How much time and supplies will I save on.

2. How often will you use them.

3. Is the time and supplies really worth the extra expense if I only plan to make these only once or twice a year.

4. However, if you are getting a really great deal on the price than yes its worth it, If not think about these questions

Thank you Vee - I reckon pans only really save you one step in the process, and that is not even a hard step - cutting the cake at an angle!  So thank you for your prompt response = I reckon I will rather invest in more baking supplies :-)

Welcome Mandy
