Hi Tracy - thanks for the compliment. First off - I cheated with the black fondant. I purchased it already colored - to me it's much easier than coloring it myself. Besides I only know how to get a true black with frosting not fondant. Sorry :( As for the cards - the red cards I used the food safe colored pens and just free-handed it. For the black cards, I actually used the wilton black coloring and a flat paint brush. I put a little color (full strength) in a plastic cup and started painting. Also - I started the cards and chips about 5 days before hand so they would have time to dry.
