Thank you!  This cake is 3 6" rounds stacked.  The dome on top is just a little mound of fondant.  I placed it on another board and then decorated it so that when it came time for the person to cut it they could just remove the board and not have to deal with cutting through the flowers.

Hi Thera! I am currently making this style of cake for a 60th birthday!! Lots of flowers to roll!! :) hehe...yours came out really pretty.  Can you share the size of the cake you did?  And the dome where the flowers are put is that cake as well?

Thank you!!  This was my first time making roses.  The roses are just 3 or 5 circles (depending on how big a rose you want) glued together end to end and rolled up, then spread out.  There are many tutorials showing this technique.  The stems are made using an extruder.  It was actually quite simple to make just time comsuming!

wow absolutely stunning cake. your roses are pure perfection. Great job! Love the design of the cake as well. Would love to know exactly how you did it. This would make a great Mother's Day Cake.
